Client: The Town of Basalt
Location: Basalt, Colorado
General Contractor: Creative Nature Landscaping
Project Status: Completed summer 2012

The improvements to Emma Bridge, and important pedestrian linkage in downtown Basalt, were spear-headed by the Emma Bridge Committee, comprised of Basalt citizens, in collaboration with the Town of Basalt.

On a limited budget and very constricted timeframe Connect One Design faithfully translated the conceptual design created by the Committee into a built work. The resulting design melded concepts created by the committee with simple, durable and exciting detailing appropriate for volunteer construction. Roaring Fork Outdoor Volunteers provided much of the construction labor during a recent weekend build day. Additional construction assistance was provided by the Rifle Correctional Facility.
