THE COTTAGE PRESCHOOL PLAYGROUND
Client: The Cottage Preschool
Location: Aspen, Colorado
Project Status: Completed Fall 2014
Located within the Aspen School District and next to the Aspen High School, Connect One Design provided the Cottage Preschool with a Master Plan for two new playgrounds that focused on types of play, universal accessibility, teacher overview and a diversity of natural experiences for children 5 years in age and younger. The design process was iterative and involved surveys and input from parents, teachers and the school district. The resulting design documents were used for a variety of grant applications.
