Located on the bank of the Roaring Fork River and the popular Rio Grande trail, this residence designed by CCY Architects, posed design challenges with a triangular shaped lot, steep topography, and constrained outdoor spaces. The solution was a series of multi-leveled, interconnected rooms for various functions and plenty of detail. The autocourt entry is designed to feel like a welcome carpet, leading you to an art water wall feature. The terrace feels like an open and unrestricted manicured space juxtaposed to the natural riparian landscape. The centerpiece of the terrace is a custom spa with a monolithic granite negative edge. Other features include vegetated roofs and a concealed custom bike storage area.
